Guests Traveling From Bangkok

By Bus - From Bangkok, we recommend that you go to Mo Chit Bus Terminal (also called the Northern Bus Station). There are many companies which offer transport directly to the city of Theong. The trip will take approximately 11-12 hours. Upon arrival in Theong, notify our staff. We advise that you call us directly. We will send transport/pickup, and promptly deliver you to Rai Ruen Rom.

Guests Traveling From Chiang Rai

Method #1, By Taxi Shuttle Service - The most convenient way to travel. At Rai Ruen Rom, we offer a taxi service to and from Chiang Rai International airport.
This service is 800 Thai baht each way for each person (for round-trip shuttle, it is 1,600 THB).

Method #2, By Bus - The most affordable way to travel. In Chiang Rai, there are two Bus Terminals. Go directly to the Old Bus Terminal (also called Terminal 1). Once you arrive there, board a bus headed toward the city of “Theong.” This will be written on the side of the bus “Chiang Rai-Theong-Chiangkham.” You can also re-confirm it with the driver and/or passengers. Prior to departure, be sure to tell the driver that you want to stop in “Theong.” This trip will take approximately 1 hour (65 kilometers). Upon arrival, please notify our staff. We advise that you call our direct phone. We will send a pickup service, and promptly bring you to your room at Rai Ruen Rom.

Guests Traveling From Chiang Mai

By Bus - Take a taxi from the Chiang Mai International Airport to the Arcade Bus Terminal (also called Terminal 2). Be sure to tell your driver this. Before arriving at the station, we recommend that you book a bus ticket at least 3 days in advance. Greenbus is the preferred service. They are the only bus service between Chiang Mai and “Theong” (where RRR is). This trip will take around 3 hours (180 kilometers). Upon arrival, please notify our staff. We advise that you call our direct phone. We will send a pickup service, and promptly bring you to your room at Rai Ruen Rom.
